The Exeter Police Department consists of four divisions under the direct command of the Chief of Police.

STAFF - The Staff division is broken down into six areas which are:

• Detectives
• Juvenile Affairs
• Property Management
• Communications
• Computer Support

PATROL - The patrol division is divided into two sub divisions:

• Uniform Patrol
• Parking Enforcement/ Animal Control
• School Resource Officer

SUPPORT DIVISION - The support division is comprised of :

• Records Management
• Finances

PROSECUTION -     This division prosecutes all misdemeanor and violation cases for the Exeter Police Department.

SPECIAL UNITS - These are special units formed to meet a specific need within the department. The members of these units may be from any of the divisions.
